When things don't go as planned
The previous post was an example of a deal I was trying for the day.
I printed those coupons out, printed out the deal plan, and went to the
store all excited for my deal!!
As any couponer learns fast, have a backup plan in case something doesn't go as planned!!! This deal did not go as planned, but I never go anywhere without the rest of my coupons to use with a new idea quickly.
With the store sold out of Aquafina, here is how the deal turned out:
Deal:
Buy (1) Gillette Fusion Shave Prep = $5.29 (this replaced the Aquafina which we will go back for on Tuesday when they get a shipment)
Use (1) $2/1 Gillete Fusion Shave Prep (6/15 RP)
Pay $3.29
Buy (2) Crest Be or Sensi Relief Toothpastes = $5.98
Use (2) $1/1 Crest Be or Crest Sensi-Relief Toothpaste
Pay $3.98, Get $4 ECB
Buy (1) Bausch and Lomb = $4.99
