When things don't go as planned

The previous post was an example of a deal I was trying for the day.  I printed those coupons out, printed out the deal plan, and went to the store all excited for my deal!!

As any couponer learns fast, have a backup plan in case something doesn't go as planned!!!  This deal did not go as planned, but I never go anywhere without the rest of my coupons to use with a new idea quickly.

With the store sold out of Aquafina, here is how the deal turned out:

Total= $22.26
Use CVS coupon $4 off $20 (exp. 6/15)
Total= $18.26 - $8 MF=$10.26 OOP, Get $9 ECB

Used $5 ECB Beauty Rewards and $4 ECB from last week.

Total OOP $1.26, Get back $2, $4, and $3 ECB=$9 for next week.
